The 'lite' class is a slower-paced strength & balance session focused on maintaining strength and preventing falls.
Optional impact training with support. Less occasional floor work depending on participants.

PILATES
for
osteoporosis
Adapted Pilates for people with osteoporosis. This is a slow-paced challenging session cultivating ultimate body awareness using Pilates principles to harness mobility, stability, strength, neutral spine and joint placement.

This class will be predominantly mat-based with standing, lying (side / back / front) and four-point kneeling exercises.

YOGA
A very slow-paced challenging yoga class with a special focus on preserving and elongating the spine. Meditation, mindfulness and breath-work are part of this holistic practise which seeks to cultivate ultimate body awareness through yoga. You will harness flexibility, stability and strength.

Please be aware, this is NOT a seated yoga class. A chair and wall are used to deepen and assist the practise. You will spend plenty of time off your bottom however seated options are possible throughout the practise.
